Friend of the Annual British Motorcycle Meet:
Thank
you for your continued support of the British Motorcycle Meet, you've made
the difference!
Throughout
the years, meet attendance and flea market vendor participation have been
a major source of revenues for the BMM. Another source of revenue is the
support we get from individuals and businesses who's interests lie in the
continued existence of the british motorcycle meet.
Costs
continue to rise for location, toilets, tent and table rentals; police
details; insurance; printing; and more.
The
British Meet Committee expends substantial time and energy ensuring the
Meet's continued visibility, and especially that it remains financially
robust. This task is difficult at best, considering the event is weather
dependent, and more than once we have suffered through monsoons. Income
produced by the direct donation and trophy sponsorship continue to be vital
source of the Meets revenue. For this we count on you.
Your
sponsorship helps ensure interest in vintage British motorcycling remains
strong.
Please
note: with the exception of the police detail the meet is produced and
staffed solely by volunteers. No one receives any compensation whatsoever.
Trophy
sponsorship is a highly visible manifestation of meet support. Sponsors
may be listed in the meet program and on trophies, with announcements during
presentation ceramony who sponsored a particular trophy. Cost to sponsors
is $55.00 for a plaque style trophy, and $85 for a Paul Revere silver plated
bowl with engraved base.
Direct
cash donations are another form of support the allows the Meet
Committee more freedom in our efforts ot enhance the quality of the Meet.
